How to describe Closer Ocean? Our style is Cinematic, Intellectual, indie rock, electronica music. Got it? Cool. Our influences include Zero 7, Coldplay, u2, and Imogen Heap. Our music has been enhanced by the combination of poetry and music.
Many of the music tracks on the album "Supercollider" were inspired by the Polish poet and Nobel prize winner, Wislawa Szymborska. The "Finding Szymborska Blog" documents our journey in tracking down an elderly, Polish speaking, reclusive, Nobel prize winning poet.
